The packrafts
What packrafts do you make?
Three. Solo for hike and calm water. Tourer for mixed trips and rivers. Duo for two people, or one person and a lot of kit.
What are they made of?
Heavy duty, ultra lite weight tubes over an 840D floor. Yellow with black trim, the Seeka logo welded on. All three self-bail.
How much do they weigh?
The Solo is 2.4 kg, the Tourer 3.65 kg and the Duo 5.8 kg, with full dimensions on each product page. Rolled, every one of them rides on your pack. Figures are manufacturer specifications.
How do I inflate it?
With the air bag in the box. Scoop it full of air, seal it, and squeeze it into the valve. A few armfuls fills the hull in a couple of minutes. Stop when the tubes hold their shape and push back under a thumb, firm but not drum-tight. Packrafts run at low pressure, so there is no gauge and no number to chase.
Are they self-bailing?
Yes. All three.
What comes fitted?
Every Seeka has an inflatable full floor, a removable inflatable seat with an EVA backrest, a self-bailing 840D floor and a welded logo, and ships with an air bag, carry bag, straps and a repair kit. Everything fitted is on the spec table of each product page.
Where are they made?
Designed and tested in Australia, built to our specification by our manufacturing partner, and made to be explored across the world. Every order ships direct to your door by tracked express, wherever you are. The warranty is held in Australia, and you are buying from an Australian business.
How to get a packraft
How do I buy one?
Add it to the cart and check out. Shipping is shown before you pay, and your order confirmation lands in your inbox straight after.
Does joining the newsletter commit me to anything?
No. Trip ideas, new gear and stories from the water. Unsubscribe in one click, and we never pass your address on.
How long does it take?
Two weeks to dispatch, then tracked express: about three weeks from order to your door, wherever you are in Australia, New Zealand, the US, Canada, the UK or Europe. We email your dispatch date with your order.
How much do they cost?
Every price is on the product page. $549 for the Solo, $649 for the Tourer, $899 for the Duo. Shipping is calculated at checkout.
Buying and support
Where do you ship?
Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Europe, direct to your door by tracked express. Shipping is shown at checkout. Because every order ships internationally, your country may charge import duty or tax on arrival, depending on where you are and the size of your order; that is billed by customs or the carrier, and the shipping page explains it.
What is the warranty?
Two years on materials and welding, from the day the packraft is in your hands. Wear, UV, heat, accidents, and modifications are not covered. If a cargo zipper is fitted later, that zipper is not part of the two-year. Full note on the warranty page.
Can I return it?
If something is faulty you are covered by the consumer guarantees under Australian Consumer Law, and by our two-year warranty on materials and welding on top of those. Manufacturing defects are a warranty claim. Full terms, including change of mind, are on the returns page.
Do you sell paddles, PFDs, or helmets?
Paddles, yes: a four-piece fibreglass at $119 and a four-piece carbon at $249, both 220 to 230 cm. For PFDs and helmets, buy gear that carries the Australian standard, and wear it every time you are on the water.
Can I try one before I buy?
Yes. Hire any model for a weekend, two days minimum, paddle included, with a refundable bond. Take it to the water you actually paddle and decide from there. Rates and dates are on the hire page.
